The Toyota project (2015)

25 white Toyotas, color-pens, cameras, 1fte data scientist, virtual overlay analytics, Google cardboards - Work in progress

Exhibition not planned yet

As a left+right brain artist I am fascinated by the power of data, and convinced that connecting data to art can be a powerful experience. Hence the Toyota project.

It captures the interaction of people in 25 cities across the globe with a car (at their disposal to be used as canvas) over the period of a month. All data is later analyzed by a data scientist. Comparisons are made between how people interacted in the various cities, and visualized by graphs, hereby creating an art triggered demographic. The cars (or what is left of them) will be on display afterwards, with data displayed to the visitors as a virtual overlay using Google cardboards and smart phones.
